Radnostix, Inc., a US-based manufacturer of nuclear medicine calibration and reference sources and the parent company of RadQual, and Oncosia Scientific GmbH, a German-based provider of dosimetry services and solutions for clinical routine, research, and radiopharmaceutical trials in nuclear medicine, announce a distribution agreement making Oncosia Scientific the first authorised distributor of Radnostix calibration and reference products in Germany.
Under the agreement, Oncosia Scientific will distribute, support, and advise on the full Radnostix calibration and reference portfolio in Germany — including RadQual sources for dose calibrators, SPECT/CT and PET imaging systems, and pre-clinical imaging applications. Products are manufactured and documented to the quality standards required in clinical and regulatory environments, with full traceability documentation supplied as standard.
The partnership reflects Oncosia Scientific's strategic focus on the complete nuclear medicine measurement chain. Accurate patient-specific dosimetry — in radioligand therapy, SIRT, and radiopharmaceutical trials — depends on a calibrated, traceable measurement infrastructure: from dose calibrator verification, through SPECT/CT scanner sensitivity calibration, to the quantitative imaging acquisition that feeds absorbed dose calculations. Radnostix calibration and reference products sit at the foundation of that chain. As authorised distributor, Oncosia Scientific now provides German nuclear medicine departments, radiopharmacies, and research institutions with local access to these products alongside its existing dosimetry services and software solutions.
The Radnostix calibration and reference portfolio is relevant to the full range of nuclear medicine environments — including departments performing routine quality control and scanner acceptance testing, nuclear pharmacies requiring traceable dose calibrator sources for dispensing QC, and research institutions and pre-clinical facilities working in theranostics development.
"We are proud to partner with Oncosia Scientific as our first authorised distributor in Germany. The German nuclear medicine market is one of the most demanding and well-developed in Europe, and finding the right local partner was important to us. Oncosia Scientific's depth of expertise in dosimetry and quantitative nuclear medicine makes them uniquely positioned to represent our calibration and reference portfolio — they understand not just the products, but the measurement workflows they underpin. We look forward to making our sources available to German nuclear medicine departments, radiopharmacies, and research institutions through this partnership."
Shahe Bagerdjian — CEO, Radnostix, Inc.
"Calibration and reference sources are not a peripheral product category for nuclear medicine — they are the measurement foundation that every quantitative workflow depends on. A dose calibrator that has not been verified against a traceable source, or a SPECT system whose sensitivity factor has not been properly established, introduces uncertainty that cannot be corrected downstream — not by software, and not by expertise alone. By distributing the Radnostix portfolio, we are extending what Oncosia Scientific offers: not only the dosimetry expertise and software to analyse absorbed dose, but the traceable calibration infrastructure that makes that analysis reliable. For departments implementing dosimetry, this closes the measurement chain. For departments focused on routine QC and scanner performance — which is the majority of nuclear medicine — this provides a trusted, locally-supported source of compliant calibration products."
